The short version
A repeatable loadout turns every attempt into useful data: if the same supplies enter each time, you can identify whether survival, damage or Pal uptime needs improvement.
Before you begin
Create a boss departure chest
- Store the weapon, ammunition, protection and food used for that encounter together.
- Keep unrelated gathering tools out of the loadout.
- Restock the chest immediately after an attempt while the missing amounts are obvious.
Standardize the attempt
- Enter fed, repaired and at the same carrying weight.
- Use the focus-target command so Pal damage begins consistently.
- Follow the same opening position before experimenting with one change at a time.
Classify the failure
- Player death points to movement, protection or attention problems.
- Pal death points to level, matchup, skill choice or recall timing.
- Timer failure points to weapon output, ammunition supply or lost attack uptime.
