The short version
Mid-game consistency comes from information and rhythm: keep the arena readable, separate player and Pal positions, preserve capture options and leave with supplies for the entire objective.
Before you begin
Make the fight readable
- Move away from visual clutter and keep the enemy, Pal and escape lane in view.
- Avoid fighting against walls that hide telegraphs or trap the camera.
- Use terrain to break dangerous approaches without blocking your own shots.
Build a recall-and-redeploy rhythm
- Recall before large predictable attacks rather than after the Pal takes the damage.
- Redeploy from an angle that restores pressure without sharing the player's position.
- Use quick active skills to reduce long periods where the Pal contributes nothing.
Protect the objective
- Carry capture tools when the route includes a valuable target.
- Use food and protection that address the actual encounter instead of generic bonuses.
- Bank rare rewards before extending the trip into optional fights.
