The short version
Separate damage from capture setup: use predictable attacks, recall early and let a capture-focused partner create the final safe throwing window.
Before you begin
Create a controlled damage phase
- Open with your normal damage while the target is healthy.
- Switch to a weaker, predictable option before the health bar reaches the danger zone.
- Recall any Pal with a long animation or delayed projectile before it launches the final hit.
Use a capture-focused partner
- Daedream's current partner behavior is useful for applying pressure without finishing the target.
- Position so you can see both the target and incoming attacks while preparing a throw.
- Do not let an unrelated wild Pal turn a controlled capture into a three-way fight.
Make every Sphere throw deliberate
- Use the Sphere tier that matches the target instead of repeating a clearly weak option.
- Improve the angle and status window before spending the next Sphere.
- If the encounter becomes unsafe, reset distance and health rather than forcing another throw.
