The short version
Choose ranch output based on a recipe you repeatedly craft, then keep the ranch close to storage and supported by enough transport capacity.
Before you begin
Start from a recipe, not a Pal
- Identify the ingredient that repeatedly stops ammunition, Spheres or food production.
- Assign ranch Pals whose output directly answers that shortage.
- Change the ranch roster when the target recipe changes.
Keep the collection route short
- Place storage close to the ranch boundary without blocking access.
- Give transporters a direct route with no stairs or decorative bottlenecks.
- Leave enough open space for each assigned Pal to enter and work consistently.
Audit output after one cycle
- Check whether drops are being created, collected and stored.
- If items remain on the ground, fix transport before adding another ranch worker.
- Compare passive stock against recipe demand before expanding the ranch.
