The short version
A slightly smaller team with short food routes, enough beds and dependable recovery will outperform a crowded base full of interrupted workers.
Before you begin
Cover the non-negotiables
- Provide a bed for every deployed worker before raising the active count.
- Keep the feed box stocked with a meal the farm can replace reliably.
- Place recovery close enough that using it does not become an expedition.
Build a complete food loop
- Cover Planting, Watering and Gathering before adding a second plantation.
- Place food storage near the farm and worker traffic.
- Keep a reserve so one missing worker does not empty the feed box immediately.
Scale support before labor
- Add beds, food throughput and recovery capacity before deploying new workers.
- Watch for repeated hunger trips that interrupt specialist jobs.
- Use a smaller stable team while redesigning a base that cannot support its current population.
